A real medical image viewer that runs in a browser tab, with no account and no upload.

Drag in the folder from your scan CD and the study opens in 2D and 3D immediately. The files are decoded on your own device — with dcm2niix compiled to WebAssembly — so the pixel data never leaves your computer.

What it opens

• A folder of DICOM (.dcm) files — from a CD, a DVD, a USB stick or a hospital export. If your export arrived as a ZIP, unzip it first and then pick the folder.
• NIfTI files (.nii, .nii.gz) — the research format.
• X-rays and single slices as JPG, PNG or DICOM.

What it does

• Axial, coronal and sagittal views that are true MPR reformats rebuilt from the volume, not three saved pictures.
• Scroll slices, rotate the 3D view, adjust window and level.
• A slab MIP or MinIP one click away.
• Export a de-identified NIfTI copy.
• Large studies stay usable: a volume above 40 million voxels is box-averaged to display resolution at load, with world-millimetre accuracy preserved so findings and share links still land on the right spot. A per-series "load full resolution" option is there when you want it.

Why it is private

Nothing is uploaded to view a scan. Decoding happens in your browser, so there is no server copy to leak, subpoena or forget to delete. That holds for the viewer and for most of the free tools.

Uploading only becomes necessary when you want an AI reading of the images — and at that point identifying DICOM tags are stripped on your device first.
